Agility is a world wide exciting, skillfull, entertaining dog sport. The team consists of a dog and their handler. Together they must execute a course of obstacles in sequence safely and in within the allotted time. Monthly tournaments are held within Calgary hosted by various organizations. The number of teams entered could range from 70 to 200. Tournaments are also held all over North America. Nationals are held by NADAC, AAC and USDAA every year. There is also a yearly World Cup. Our Cruizin' Canines trailer holds most of our equipment. Currently we have enough equipment to make two rings each with their own obstacle course. A basic overview of the equipment are jumps, tunnels, weave poles, a wall and a dog walk. We also have our own microphone with the system for live commentary. Since the weather is beyond our control we have tents for shade or shelter, swimming pools for the dogs to cool off. We have the software so courses and results can be posted on our bulletin board There are several pieces of agility equipment on a course. A wall, bridge, tunnels, shoot(or soft tunnel), jumps, weave poles and a teeter totter.
